OH BABY OH BABY OH BABY
This was one of my very favorite Baby Showers that I had the opportunity to style.
It was for my beautiful nephew! The vision behind it was to match the style of the Mama to Be. She was having a boy but didn’t necessarily want a lot of typical blue to carry through the color scheme. So I went with a very neutral color palette and added a hinge of ocean blue with a few accents i.e; tags, signage and napkins. This also would carry well over to a girl theme with pale pinks, lavenders or a gender neutral tone for the couples that don’t know the gender of the baby.

Baby Shower guest gifts
These were so easy and inexpensive to make and I truly think they are the most thoughtful and precious things you can give your guests. I bought these Burlap bags from Michaels arts and crafts store, they also had in theses tassels in the ribbon section. I put tea lights in each one with a note saying “Burn this tea light on the night once the stork has made his flight, With a flicker of the flame please say a prayer in the baby’s name.
Life is all about the DETAILS
Sometimes with a party, it is the little details that really make the event special. It isn’t that hard to come up with a few minor things that can really make the difference. For instance, I love to personalize everything I can…whether it is a tag, placecard, spray painting any little extra decor to match the theme palette. The little rocking horses pictured above are from the Dollar store and I simply spray painted them gold to match other gold pieces…they worked great for cupcake toppers as well.
Magnolia Leaf Garland.
Supplies: Magnolia Leaves,Rope,Florists wire.(You can probably use any big leaves you have on site)
After assembling the garland, I attached it to the table with thumbtacks.
I made the wooden backdrop sign from a standard size wooden plank that you purchase from Home Depot for under 8.00$ I then just used acrylic paint to paint the words on it in the matching colors.
Paper Flowers were purchased at Michaels and come in a variety of colors.
